From the New Year
Oh Boy,
Long day yesterday. The good news is that I apparently helped out a couple friends of mine meet a coupl girls whom I got to go to a party we were attending. Lots of positive feedback for "wingman" work. On the other hand, I wound up spending New Year's alone mostly. I did spend some time with an old girlfriend earlier on and that was interesting. We still have a good connection, though I'm not sure what that really means any more.
So, I'm in recovery from last night's festivities, preparing to go running then maybe to a movie with my friend Charles Bowe. It's really nice outside, not too windy, sunny and temperate.
Christmas was fun. Nate Morphew came over along with Brian Hall, Helmut (my wayward dog) and Izzy (his little buddy). I made ribs and a venison roast, we talked a lot and had a good dudes and dogs. JV came to visit a couple of days later and that was nice. We had a good sauna--the snow was clean and cold, good for an exfoliating roll. We had a very good time, all in all. Then there were big airport delays leaving MN. Got back to NYC really late. No big deal.
My dad has stablized, which is good. It's been a roller coaster with him for the last year, or so. But I think he's doing okay.
Lots of stuff going on. Having my wisdom teeth pulled out on Thursday. I'll be laying low for the weekend.
Not sure about everyhting that's going on in my life right now. Seems to be more transitions, people coming and going. I think I'll stay chill tonight and wait to see what the rest of the week brings.
